Something that does not seem like it but if you think about it is important since it imagines that they have to notify you of a fine and they send it to your old address. It is possible that if you do not know or do not remember it, you may run out of time and have to pay the fine and the surcharge. How to notify a change of address to the DGT
We see that it is really important to notify the DGT that we have changed address so that to carry out the procedure, we will only have to enter the website of the General Traffic Directorate through the option of [email protected] or if you have Electronic DNI.
We can also do it by entering the General Access Point of the Administration, again with the option [email protected], electronic DNI or digital certificate. Through this body you can also do the procedure to notify the Tax Agency , Social Security or the National Police of the change.
And if you prefer to do it in person, you can go to the Headquarters or Provincial Traffic Office or also, it can be done from some municipalities (which have an agreement with the DGT)
Finally, the procedure can also be done by calling 060 or with your mobile from the miDGT application (in the case of using this last option, you just have to open the app, go to your account and change your personal data from there).
