"The story of my name" is an illustrated and personalized Kidymundi book in which the little ones will discover where their name comes from, or at least they will discover an imaginative story that tries to explain it. No etymologies or family inheritances: in this book a game is proposed and children learn to spell by the way.
The books begin with a scene on the day of the child's birth and many animals gathered to name it. Then, letter by letter, each one represented by an animal, the child's name and surnames are given.
Each animal carries a letter (the initial of its name; there are different animals if any letter is repeated) and the illustration is accompanied by a small rhymed text. In this way, page by page, the name of the boy or girl is written thanks to the animals that spell with rhymes, and in the end everyone is happy with such a beautiful name.
We can also discover an "encyclopedia" with all the animals and their letters and on the last page there is a personalized dedication of the person who ordered the gift. Here parents, grandparents, uncles, friends … can leave their words for the child.
Kidymundi's personalized book "The story of my name" is bound in hard covers in 21.5×30.4 centimeter format and costs 25 euros. What I liked the most: the illustrations of the animals, very funny.
