Two of the Ratchet & Clank released on PS3 will shut down their online servers next week

This morning we echoed that Mojang had announced the closure of the online servers of ‘Scrolls’, his card game, but he was not the only one who has just been announced that he will lose any online function. The last to be affected by this will be some of the ‘Ratchet & Clank’ games released on PlayStation 3 .

Specifically, the measure affects ‘ Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal ‘ and ‘ Ratchet: Deadlocked ‘, the remasters of the titles originally published on PlayStation 2. Both will lose all functions related to their multiplayer or any other option that requires an online connection.

If you are still playing them, you will still have a few days to take advantage of all these functions before they disappear permanently on February 15 .

Sony has not made any kind of statement to explain the reason for this decision, although it is most likely due to the number of years that have passed since they were released and that perhaps the number of players is not high enough to continue keeping them active for much longer.
