Corona easing for vaccinated people: Bundestag resolves new freedoms

The Bundestag agrees to relax those vaccinated. If the Federal Council agrees on Friday, the ordinance will take effect on the weekend.

Berlin – Finally there is certainty: With a large majority, Parliament waves the easing for corona-vaccinated people through. The resolution of the Bundestag repeals several corona measures for vaccinated people. With the new regulation coming into force, vaccinated people no longer need a negative corona test to visit shops and there is no curfew for vaccinated people. Now all that is needed is the approval of the Federal Council before the ordinance can actually take effect over the weekend.

Relief for corona vaccinated people: contact restrictions and curfew no longer apply

But not only those who have been vaccinated benefit from the decision of the Bundestag. Even those who have recovered from the corona can look forward to making everyday life easier. This means that the group that benefits from the regulation can meet with other people without restriction – and no longer has to adhere to the curfew.

Compliance with the general contact restrictions is no longer effective for vaccinated people. For example, the rule applies that people from a region with a seven-day incidence of over 100 are only allowed to meet with their own household and one other person, not for vaccinated people.

After a complete corona vaccination: the quarantine period and mandatory testing will be lifted

If the Federal Council also confirms the decision, the annoying quarantine time will also be eliminated – both before or after departure and after contact with a person who tested positive for the corona virus.

The test requirement is also completely eliminated. The Robert Koch Institute provides the reason for the many relaxations: Vaccinated or corona-recovered people no longer run the risk of infection. * 24hamburg.de, nordbuzz.de and Kreiszeitung.de are offers from IPPEN.MEDIA.
