Many months have had to pass, but luckily sanity has returned to our country and the three best-selling games of the month are exactly that: games!
We commented a month ago, in the monthly review that we do of the sales of games that aDeSe collects on its website, that the most sold in recent times were the Wii table and the ‘Wii Play’ remote. But, ah, Christmas is gone and with the great releases that took place last month, the best-selling game podium is occupied by ‘ Resident Evil 5 ‘ in both versions of PS3 and X360, and ‘ Killzone 2 ‘, which as we well know is exclusive to PlayStation 3.
In addition to these two great games, in the general list of best sellers we find other jewels such as ‘Street Fighter IV’, ‘Empire: Total War’ or ‘Professor Layton and the Mysterious Villa’ , which indicates that, apart from Perennials like ‘Wii Fit’, ‘Wii Play’ and ‘Mario Kart Wii’, people are beginning to look beyond looking for an additional controller for their console and start looking for real games … even if they are for other consoles.
As for the individual lists, the PS3 stands out with returning games such as ‘Assassin’s Creed’ and ‘Metal Gear Solid 4’ , which with their corresponding price reductions are living a new era of rapprochement by those who were tempted but that the price finally pushed back.
The same happens with X360, which recovers among its best sellers other jewels such as ‘Pure’, ‘Dead Space’ or ‘GTA IV’ , which had been missing for months from the sales lists. Good games are always there and it is never a bad time to retrieve them from oblivion.
It should be noted, on the contrary, that other powerful launches of the month have not had quite the reception they were supposed to. ‘ Resistance: Retribution ‘ for PSP is not in the general Top10, but it is in the particular list of Sony laptop sales. But for example ‘ Halo Wars ‘, which was supposed to be one of the megatons of the month, is not even in the top ten best-selling Xbox 360 games. A shame …
