The closure of GameSpy is affecting so many multiplayer games that we won’t realize what we’re going to lose until we do. There are some companies that have worked to continue maintaining most of their titles, but unfortunately Nintendo is not among them since it has decided, as we already told you a few days ago that today, May 20, the online games of Wii and DS / DSi
And when I say majority it is because the list of Wii, DS and WiiWare / DSiWare games is long and with important titles. To give a quick example on Wii we will run out of multiplayer from ‘Mario Kart Wii’, ‘ Super Smash Bros Brawl’, ‘Trauma Center’ or ‘The Last Story’ , and on Nintendo DS there are titles as important as ‘ Dragon Quest IX ‘ , ‘Mario Kart DS’ or all the Pokémon titles released to date on the Nintendo laptop. The only online services that will not be affected are the navigation channels of the two consoles, both the Store Channel and YouTube, and the browsers of the two consoles.
You have a complete list of all affected games after the jump. I already warn you in advance that there are many and can give you something when you see your favorite game on the list.
