Nintendo has just announced the launch of Wii Mini , a revision of Nintendo’s desktop console that will hit stores in Canada on December 7 with a price of 99.99 Canadian dollars , just under 78 euros at the current exchange rate.
Wii Mini: more colors, less functionality
The new Wii Mini features a new design, matching nunchuk and a Wii Remote Plus , the WiiMote with Wii Motion Plus integrated. However, the possibility of connecting to the Internet and the backward compatibility with GameCube are left out of the redesign, being the reproduction of Wii games its only possibility.

Canada only
At the moment Nintendo has not offered data on the possible departure of Wii Mini in other countries, and although the latest details come from Nintendo , the announcement has been made to respond to a leak on the website of a Canadian distributor.
For now, and as long as Nintendo does not say otherwise, this console is exclusive to Canada.
