By all it is known that Nintendo has always gone to his ball according to what things, taking in some cases decisions that leave us stupefied, such as the recent controversy with the sales figures of WiiWare games. Or also, since we are talking about this digital download service for Wii, how much it has cost Nintendo to implement the demos … although in its own way: demos are numbered and expire. Of joke. And that’s not to mention that there are never sales …
Currently in WiiWare we can find, if we are European, only two demos. One from the ‘Gnomz’ , and the other from the ‘MotoHeroz’ . However, and to my surprise, a few minutes ago I found out that in the United States they have received 50 demos all at once . After a while I connected my Wii to see if here too, but unfortunately not, and it surprises and piss me off in equal measure. Why they do and we don’t? Or rather, why do we still have to put up with this attitude from Nintendo with demos? When will they realize that it should be even an obligation to offer a demo of a product in digital format? Buying blind is not the solution.
In this generation, and speaking only of consoles, Xbox 360 was the pioneer. Sony had a hard time, but finally ended up implementing demos without any problem. However, Nintendo still does not realize that the path it is taking is not the right one. I trust that in the end it will pay attention to the feedback of the users, because this for me has already gone from dark brown.
Unless 50 demos arrive in Europe. That as a first step in good faith.
