Windsor – For the first time since her corona infection, British Queen Elizabeth II gave a physical audience again. The 95-year-old monarch received Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Windsor Castle.
The pictures showed the two shaking hands and talking in a room in the castle. The Queen wore a dress decorated with ornaments in blue, green and white. A huge bouquet of flowers could be seen in the background. Both seemed happy.
Just over two weeks ago, the Queen had tested positive for the corona virus. According to the palace, she had been suffering from mild cold-like symptoms. It is considered certain that she has been vaccinated against Corona at least three times. However, due to her age and health problems in recent months, the news caused great concern among Britons.
