The name of the show is simply “Farage”. It will now run from Monday to Thursday at prime time at 8 p.m. In a video on his Twitter account, the former British MEP announced that he was covering things “that everyone else wants to ignore”.
GB News, which has only been on the air for about a month, is considered the British version of US broadcaster Fox News, with some moderators known to be right-wing. The audience numbers, which were promising at the beginning, had recently plummeted.
In addition, GB News got into an internal crisis when one of the presenters showed solidarity with England’s footballers on a live broadcast and went down on his knees. The gesture, which is seen as a protest against racism, is frowned upon by many conservative Britons.
