The RKI recently reported a falling incidence for Germany. The number of new infections is still high.
Berlin / Frankfurt am Main – Will the nationwide seven-day incidence continue to fall compared to the previous day? The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) stated the value of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week on Tuesday morning (December 21, 2021) as 306.4. For comparison: on Monday the value was 316.0. The data for Wednesday (December 22nd, 2021) are not yet available. We will inform you as soon as the RKI provides the numbers.

The data
The case numbers of the RKI can differ from those of the individual federal states. One reason for this is the longer transmission routes between the RKI and the responsible health authorities. The RKI’s Covid-19 dashboard can also be adjusted during the day.
