Information on the number of cases

The case numbers of the RKI can differ from those of the individual federal states. One reason for this is the longer transmission routes between the RKI and the responsible health authorities. The RKI’s Covid-19 dashboard can also be adjusted during the day.

According to the latest information from the RKI, the health authorities have recorded a total of 7,661,811 cases of infection since the start of the pandemic. The total number of registered corona deaths in Germany rose to 114,735. The institute put the number of people recovered from illness caused by the coronavirus in Germany at around 6,836,600.
