It is logical and one day it had to happen. With a new console in the making and another that has been dead for a long time rather than alive, it was normal for the Japanese company to end up making a tough decision. No more Wii video games produced by Nintendo .
From now on, the primary focus on desktop consoles is Nintendo Wii U. This was confirmed by Bill Trinen, the director of product and marketing at Nintendo America, stating that the company has stopped working on projects for Wii and that they have nothing on the horizon for that console.
An abrupt end for a console that has been the standard bearer for success for many years. And it is that although we prefer that companies continue to support the console they are retiring for a while (surely they could still get a couple more pearls from their catalog) while promoting the new one, it is not such a strange decision nor is it the first time that Nintendo does something similar. You know, we are talking about games developed and produced by Nintendo. Some other developer will still be there , at the bottom of the canyon.
