Nintendo today announced the termination of its Wi-Fi Connection service scheduled for May 20 . This means that the online functionalities of the games for DS, DSi, and Wii will no longer be active from that date.
With this service interruption, it will be time to say goodbye to online gaming on the indicated platforms, although both the DSi and Wii digital stores will remain active after May 20. Applications such as YouTube or the same browser, of course, will continue to work without problems.
It is not a movement that takes us by surprise, precisely. Last June he already made some Wii channels disappear such as the Nintendo Channel , the Weather Channel or the News Channel , to name a few of them.
