London – British Prince Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has published her first historical novel. “Her Heart for a Compass” was released on Tuesday, as announced by Mills and Boon.
The story, which Ferguson wrote together with the experienced author Marguerite Kaye, is about the “very rebellious lady” Margaret Montagu Scott, as she tells in a video for publication. This rebelled against the expectations of the upper class in the 1870s and broke out of an arranged marriage.

For the fictional story, “Fergie”, as the 61-year-old Duchess of York is also called, has, according to her own statements, also used elements from her own biography.
Ferguson and the Queen’s second eldest son, Prince Andrew, 61, divorced in 1996 after ten years of marriage. Nevertheless, they say they are still close friends. She also showed up demonstratively at the side of her ex-husband after he was in need of explanation because of a suspected involvement in the Epstein abuse scandal.
