Munich – The British bestselling author Simon Beckett ("The Chemistry of Death") owes his success, in his own words, to his wife.
“Without my wife Hilary, I would never have made it. We have been a couple for almost 40 years, and she always had confidence in my abilities as an author, even after many frustrating rejection of my manuscripts, ”reports the 61-year-old in the current“ Playboy ”August issue.
Beckett made his breakthrough in 2006 with the thriller "The Chemistry of Death". “The Lost” (Wunderlich Verlag) was recently published.
