We commented on it yesterday, despite the fact that Nintendo’s pre-TGS 2011 conference was dominated by everything related to 3DS , they secured a space to remember that we are still in the year that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the saga ‘The Legend of Zelda’ .
The video that was shown there and that we present here today compiles the history of the franchise from that primitive but innovative first game that appeared in 1986 to the 2011 3D revision of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’. Desktop and laptop versions parade through four and a half minutes emphasizing the novelties that they included. So there are the horse and the passage from child to adult of ‘Ocarina of Time’ , the transformations of ‘Majora’s Mask’ , the season / time changes of the duo ‘Oracle of’ , the Lilliputian reduction of ‘Minis Cap ‘ , the multiplayer mode of the ‘ 4 Swords’ series or the flooded Hyrule that we sail aboard a small ship in ‘Wind Waker’ .
Many memories and emotions that suppose the DNA of the player of which this writes and, surely, of more than one who is reading these lines. As the video leaves out the still unpublished ‘The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword’ I put below its excellent latest trailer, which is fresh out of the oven and comes to corroborate, as we said yesterday, the greatness of the saga in a huge title .
