“Spider-Man” Tom Holland cannot complain about a lack of work. Then other things come up short.
London – Tom Holland stars as Nathan Drake in the theatrical adaptation of the PlayStation game ‘Uncharted’. The 25-year-old sitting and playing in front of the screen himself is currently rather rare.
“To be honest, I don’t have much time for video games right now,” Holland told the German Press Agency in London. “But if I’m shooting a film and I’m waiting in my trailer for something to be set up, for the lights to be adjusted or something, then I’ll play on the Playstation and really get going.”
According to the “Spider-Man” star, he prefers to play games with a consistent story behind them. “I’m more the story mode guy,” says Holland. “One thing I really dislike is playing online because I can’t take the stress. But I do like to play a game once in a while.”
The US adventure film “Uncharted” by director Ruben Fleischer, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, opens in German cinemas on Thursday (February 17). The unlikely duo embarks together on an adventurous trip around the world to find a lost pot of gold. dpa
