At the beginning of December of last year we provided you with a tutorial on how to transfer data from Wii to Wii U. A task, by the way, of the most original and fun thanks to the good work of the tiny pikmins.
But of course, recently it was officially confirmed that this spring the Virtual Console will arrive on Wii U, although before that we will be receiving a few classics by droppers, the first of them being the NES ‘Balloon Fight’. And what happens if it is the case that when the Virtual Console debuts on Wii U and we pay those 0.99 or 1.49 euros higher to dump a classic from NES or Super Nintendo, respectively, adapted to the new console of High Definition? Well, we will not be able to transfer your data from the Wii Virtual Console to the Wii U. The solution, therefore, will be to enjoy that classic from the Wii Virtual Console within the Wii U Wii menu, with which we would have You have to necessarily pull the Wiimote , and not the Wii U Gamepad, with which, goodbye to the idea of playing lying in bed with the TV turned off, one of the great advantages of the Wii U Gamepad.
If the idea of paying a small bonus for games for which we have already paid, and at the price of gold , already did not like us at all, the idea of not being able to transfer that data only makes the matter worse. Luckily, with the promotion of the 0.30 euros it has been partially solved, but certainly the prices should be more adjusted, and another way should be found to be able to transfer that data between both virtual consoles. Let’s see if Nintendo changes its mind.
