THE ESPN ZONE IN LAS VEGAS HAS CLOSED ITS DOORS
The space at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino has been replaced by a Tom’s Urban and has great outdoor seating and plenty of places to catch a game. The menu is more varied and the overall quality has been improved.
If you need a place to watch soccer, there are plenty in Las Vegas with one of my favorites, TAP Vegas at the top of the list. If you just need a place to have a beer in Las Vegas, visit one of the many pubs on the Las Vegas Strip. Las Vegas has plenty of food options, so there’s no need to worry about ESPN closing its theme restaurant. Be sure to stop by Shake Shack in New York-New York, as it is also generally in the same area as the ESPN Zone above.
This area is adjacent to Las Vegas Park, which is also home to the T-Mobile Arena, where the Las Vegas Gold Knights of the National Hockey League play their local games. Throughout The Park, Las Vegas bars and restaurants like Beer Haus and Sake Rok cater to Las Vegas visitors seeking raucous fun.

What’s it like in ESPN Zone Las Vegas?
The bar is perfect for watching a game. The dining room can be loud, but what do you expect in a sports bar? Upstairs seems to be the best place to have a good time after dinner. There is a bar and the ‘sports arena’ to keep you busy while your favorite team battles on the multitude of screens around the venue.
This is a good alternative to the Sports Book right outside the entrance to ESPN Zone. While you have to pay for your own drinks at the restaurant, you won’t have a sore neck from staring directly at the giant screens. If you want to make some bets, walk around and drop your cash and then return to a comfortable stool and a multitude of screens within the ESPN Zone.
How is the food at ESPN Zone Las Vegas?
I never complain about wings and beer, and they both do quite well while I sit down to watch sports. The menu is diverse enough to satisfy almost anyone. Don’t waste your time on anything that seems out of place at a sports bar. Example: steak made with a vegetable that you rarely have at home, come on. Extra cheeseburger with a side of nachos. Exactly what you should ask for.
