Indian Biryani Recipe

The Indian recipe for biryani is a dish in high demand not only in your country, but all over the world. Among the recipes made with rice, this is considered an incredible gem. Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo of boneless chicken
  • 2 cups basmati rice
  • 150 grams of fried onion
  • 6 cups of water
  • 1 coffee cup of chopped coriander
  • ½ small cup minced fresh mint
  • 2 natural yogurts
  • 5 balls of black pepper
  • 5 balls of cardamom
  • 5 clove sticks
  • 4 garlic cloves, grated
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 sachet of natural saffron
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ½ hot green chilli (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of hot paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon ground coriander
  • Sunflower oil
  • How to prepare biryani:

    1. In a cup of coffee we pour half the water and the saffron envelope. We mix and reserve.
    2. In a frying pan, add a splash of sunflower oil and fry the cinnamon stick together with the cloves, the cumin grains and the pepper for a few seconds.
    3. Add the grated garlic, onion and hot chilli. Cook over medium heat. When it is halfway through cooking, add the chicken.
    4. After a few minutes we include the yogurt, half the fried onion, the powdered spices, the fresh mint and the coriander . Cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
    5. Apart we boil 8 cups of water with salt, the cardamom, the bay leaf and a drizzle of oil .
    6. When it starts to boil, add the previously washed rice . We cook for 10 minutes.
    7. We drain the rice and spread it over the chicken that we have previously placed on the baking sheet.
    8. Pour in the water with saffron and the remaining fried onion on top.
    9. We put the whole set to the point of salt.
    10. Cover and bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. We serve. Biryani
