How to prepare biryani:
- In a cup of coffee we pour half the water and the saffron envelope. We mix and reserve.
- In a frying pan, add a splash of sunflower oil and fry the cinnamon stick together with the cloves, the cumin grains and the pepper for a few seconds.
- Add the grated garlic, onion and hot chilli. Cook over medium heat. When it is halfway through cooking, add the chicken.
- After a few minutes we include the yogurt, half the fried onion, the powdered spices, the fresh mint and the coriander . Cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Apart we boil 8 cups of water with salt, the cardamom, the bay leaf and a drizzle of oil .
- When it starts to boil, add the previously washed rice . We cook for 10 minutes.
- We drain the rice and spread it over the chicken that we have previously placed on the baking sheet.
- Pour in the water with saffron and the remaining fried onion on top.
- We put the whole set to the point of salt.
- Cover and bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. We serve.
