If you need a quick guide to Las Vegas temperatures, we can tell you that January and February can be cold, but not as cold as you might expect if you are from the north. If you’re heading to Las Vegas from Canada, I’m sure you’ll have a laugh at various coats and scarves while wearing a t-shirt. March and April are tough as the temperatures start to heat up and you get the feeling that the pool season is in full swing. While it can get hot, we’ve seen a few spring break parties canceled due to rain and low daytime temperatures.
Don’t worry because May, June, July, August and September are guaranteed warm months. You can be sure that you won’t need a sweater and you can pack extra sunscreen. Once October and Halloween roll around, the temperatures will drop and you can bet that Las Vegas winter will start in November and December.
The weather is relative, so if it comes out below minus 20 temperatures, you will feel like the seasons have changed when you get off the plane in 50 degrees of sun. However, in the middle of summer, many will tell you that it is a dry heat, but anyway, if you look at it, you will feel a little discomfort.
So is it hot in Las Vegas? Not if you’re gambling, well, unless you have a hot shooter and the chips flood the felt.
