There is a spot along the rail in Rivea Las Vegas at the top of the Delano Hotel that gives you a clear view of the entire Las Vegas strip. In that place, along with the perfect cocktail, great food, and great company, you get the feeling that Las Vegas is truly everything it is expected to be.
The lights of Las Vegas are iconic. They set the tone for vacations, getaways, misbehavior, and some long-lasting memories. That said, that’s a big reason why a restaurant with a view is almost guaranteed to make you happy.
An Alain Ducasse restaurant, with a fresh new design and a vibrant menu that accentuates fresh ingredients with a touch of the French Riviera and laid-back California flair combine to create a new focal point for Las Vegas dining. Dinner in Las Vegas becomes more than a meal, it is an experience. A drink in Skyfall, the lounge adjoining the dining room, sets you up for a memorable meal and then ends the evening with an after-dinner cocktail.

What should you expect from Rivea at Delano Las Vegas?
The dining room is open and the high ceiling gives the space room to breathe. By that I mean that even though this is a good dinner, it feels relaxed and extremely comfortable. IF you sit on the patio, the view dominates the space and your eyes are drawn to the lights of Las Vegas. While the views are stunning, the sight lines from the nearby Skyfall Lounge are much better and worthy of an after-dinner drink.
How’s the food at Rivea Las Vegas?
From charcuterie to small plate, shared pasta dishes, to main courses, you’ll feel the freshness of the Riviera. The flavors would be at home by the ocean or on the deck of your yacht. Truth be told, you wish you were wearing comfortable clothes and trendy sunglasses while dining at Rivea. It’s food that makes you feel like you’re on vacation during your Vegas vacation.
What you must try at Rivea Las Vegas:
- Shrimp and Squid Crostini: Crispy yet delicate savory and salty with the flavors of the ocean mixed with a little of the comfort that makes you beg for more. You can easily pack some of these while sitting in front of the TV or with a view of the incoming yachts at your beach house.
- Seasonal Mushroom Risotto: Like many of the dishes at Rivea, it’s flavorful, creamy, and satisfying in the way you’re sorry you asked for this as a sharing option. You want to eat more than your share. With risotto it is a simple dish that when done right is addictive, but can easily be thwarted by a lack of patience. This mushroom-sprinkled version is a labor of love that brings out earthy flavors and tasty satisfaction in the classic comfort food classic.
- Roasted duck breast in bigarade is a dance between the salty and fatty flavors of the duck and the slightly bitter notes of the citrus. It gets a little sweet and then a little tart, all escorted by the roasted duck breast.
